RES’ Local Electricity Discount Scheme (LEDS) offers residential, commercial, public and community properties closest to certain participating operational renewable energy projects (wind, solar and energy storage) in Great Britain and Northern Ireland an annual discount on their electricity bill.

Eligible properties can include private residences, local businesses and public buildings like schools, libraries and hospitals. Participation in the scheme is voluntary and is not linked to any particular supplier or tariff. Visit our FAQ page to learn more.

Operating successfully for more than a decade, LEDS is a unique initiative designed and delivered by RES in response to feedback from communities around our operational wind farms. As well as delivering LEDS for its own developed and constructed renewable energy projects, RES has also been contracted to manage LEDS on behalf of third party clients.
